MegaNatural®-BP
MegaNatural®-BP is a patented grape seed extract. This product was evaluated in a human clinical at UC Davis on patients with Metabolic Syndrome and reduced their average systolic blood pressure by 12 mm and their average diastolic blood pressure by 8 mm. In a second study conducted on participants with prehypertension at UC Davis, when taking 300 mg of MegaNatural®-BP once a day for two months, we saw a drop in systolic blood pressure of 8 mm and diastolic blood pressure of 5 mm. The product is made in California from a special seed blend primarily from varietal white wine grape seeds. The seeds are extracted with hot water, the extract is purified, concentrated and spray dried to high phenolic grape seed extract powder for use in supplements and functional foods and beverages.
MegaNatural® Gold Grape Seed Extract
MegaNatural® Gold Grape Seed Extract guarantees a minimum 90% polyphenols and a standardized composition of monomers, oligomers and polymers. MegaNatural Gold is available in powder form for capsules (Item #: VW7000) and in granulate form for tablets (Item #: G-8000). All grape seed products are sold in 20 kg containers.
MegaNatural® Whole Red Grape Juice Extract
MegaNatural® Rubired Grape Juice Extract is a new product offering from Polyphenolics. This product is similar to bilberry extract in composition with a minimum of 20% anthocyanins and 45% total phenols. Therefore, it could be used in conjunction with bilberry in eye care products. Also, since it is made predominantly from rubired grape juice, it has the same active compounds as red grape juice and could be used to create a product designed to be an alternative to red grape juice. MegaNatural® GSKE-Grape Pomace Extract
GSKE is made from grape skins, grape seeds and grape stems and is classified as a grape pomace extract. The extraction process is the same as described under our “Gold Standard Process.” GSKE has a minimum of 80% phenol and a minimum of .075% anthocyanins. This product has a higher total phenols content and anti-oxidant capacity than most grape seed extracts. Also, GSKE has an ORAC value greater than 11,000/gram, which is as good as our MegaNatural Gold grape seed extract in this respect. (Item #: GK2000) This product is in powder form and comes in 20 kg containers.
MegaNatural® RED WINE Concentrate
MegaNatural® RED WINE Concentrate is produced from 100% California red wines. It is standardized at > 25% polyphenols and >8% anthocyanins and produced as a powder. This is not just a spray dried wine but a special wine high in anthocyanins that is controlled to minimize malolactic formation. The red wine is fermented, lactic acid controlled and alcohol is removed. A limited extraction is performed removing some sugars and proteins. The product is in powder form and comes in 10 kg containers (Item #: GW3050).
